SERVICES

The Library of college has been well equipped with the latest information technologies and web based information Resources, e-books and e-Journals search, OPAC, Web OPAC and Internet browsing as it is well connected through LAN/ BSNL 100mbps Fiber Optic Internet Connection. The Library maintains around more than one lake collections of books, reference book, thesis, monograph, back volumes of journals, audio-visuals and e-resources. The most Important services of library as follow :

e-Services
The library provides NLIST Consortium of e-Resources (6000 + e-journals and 3200000 e-Books) in different subjects of college for teaching, reading, self study and research. Users click www.nlist.inflibnet.ac.in and login.

Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC):
The central library computerized through SOUL SOFTWARE of INFLIBNET center Gandhinagar. OPAC module of software provides facilities of search books by different approach of user. Users search a library catalog principally to locate books and other material available at a library. Users reserve books by this facility. There are four computer cabinet use for OPAC facility in reading room of library.

Circulation Service:
Computerized circulation section in library. 300 to 400 books circulate per day. Books issue to user as per following table:

The rules of Circulation service of the library are made through the Library Advisory Committee, and after their approval, are implemented after the permission of the Principal.

News Paper Clipping Service
Press clipping service is operated by the library to keep the news clippings related to college related news and important current affairs easy and to pass this heritage to future readers.

Reference Service
The Central Library an excellent collection of reference texts such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, Yearbook, Biographical Sources, Geographical Sources, Handbook and Manual etc. The general curiosities of the readers are satisfied with the help of these reference sources. To give information related to the deep inquiries of college researchers and professors and other scholars, help is taken from the information sources of the library, other libraries and scholars.

Reprographic Service
Library has provided reprographic ( photocopy service ) for users
Timing: 9.30 am To 6.00 pm

The rules of Reprographic service of the library are made through the Library Advisory Committee, and after their approval, are implemented after the permission of the Principal.

Property Counter
There is a Property Counter in the library. It is mandatory for all the readers to deposit their own books, bags, umbrellas etc. in this counter. This counter is located at the entrance of the reading room.

Library has provided Internet & e-Library service for different group of users
